#11號車針(75/11)：車縫薄的平織棉布 
#14號車針(90/14)：車縫一般布料，如棉布、斜紋布等 
#16號車針(100/16)：選用粗車針車縫厚布料，不使車針斷裂。如帆布 

"LL&LR"是皮革(天然皮革、合成皮革)的專用針。
針頭像尖刀的形狀，所以即使是普通縫紉機針較難穿通的皮革面料也可以順暢地縫制。
針跡過短容易損傷面料，所以針跡的長度不要小于2.5mm。
如果皮革的推布不順暢，在其上下墊置薄紙，可以使其推布順暢，針跡整齊。
如果線的松緊狀況不好或者有跳針現象發生時，在線穿通途中塗一些“蠟"使其順滑。
